Revelation Song (Live) Meredith Andrews

email

(Thanks to Judy Knapp for this find)

I’ve posted before about Revelation Song – more along the lines of how impossible I find to sing it without smiling and crying at the same time.  It is hard to not get wrapped up in having that picture of being in Heaven singing this song with the entire host…it is indescribable.

So after having Ashley Huebner belt out the song once again last week…I get another blessing this morning in the form of a YouTube video courtesy of Judy Knapp.  Watch the video…listen to the song…do NOT multitask…just take a moment to totally reflect.  Meredith Andrews did an awesome job doing this song at Harvest Bible Church.  I love how she changed one line at one point “with all creation I’ll sing…raised through the King of Kings“.

Forgive my ramblings for a moment …

This is one of my favorite worship songs, ever. I was in the main sanctuary this past Sunday. One of the greatest blessings that I receive when watching worship is when the instrumentalists are so obviously worshiping, when they don’t have a mike in front of them. (Phil W. comes to mind. Ever watched him worship while he plays? Blessing!) I was struck by that again this past Sunday. Michael S. was on acoustic, and was singing his heart out as his wife sang the lead. He told me later that it’s an easy enough song to chord that he can fully focus on worshiping while he’s playing. And Terry was literally jumping around while playing bass, much like some of the guitarists in the video that you posted. I love, love, LOVE that !!!!

    Thanks for sharing.

I always love when Don plays wth us. Don just bleeds “I’m in the Spirit” at times. We have a great group of folks at LifePoint.
