Book Review: The Word of Promise – The Gift of Psalms

email

Over the past few days, I’ve had the opportunity to read and listen to The Word of Promise – The Gift of Psalms from Thomas Nelson Publishers. This is, in my opinion, a must for worship leaders and worshipers everywhere. The books take a selection of some of the greatest and most impactful psalms as written in the book of Psalms. The Psalms are eloquently recited by various members of the entertainment community.

Have a hard time reading? No problem. This book comes with an audio version (included) on compact disk which makes it m ore convenient to “read”. I was able to complete the book in my quiet time and while commuting back and forth each day.

Each Pslam selected has the Psalm set to music and is followed by a short devotional pertaining to the Psalm. Whether you are looking for your next favorite devotional book…or to learn more about the Psalms…this book/audio compilation is perfect!
